About us

Engineers of Tomorrow is a not-for-profit that is shaping the engineering narrative by telling better stories.

Why we Love Engineering

We hear the word “hate” a lot surrounding some of the foundations of engineering: math, science, etc. It’s easy to become discouraged at a young age from this field, when the only lens we’ve been exposed to is a miniature summary of what engineering really is.

Believe it or not, it’s not just about mind-boggling calculations with overwhelming formulas!

Engineering is a field that solves some of the most impactful and diverse problems in the world, that’s why we love it!

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, here are some reasons why we love engineering:

  1. Versatility: Not only are there so many fields of engineering, but within each field there are loads of different domains to explore. The options are endless!
  2. Engineering Mindset: As an engineer, no problem is too big to solve. This type of mindset translates into other areas of life and you begin to live the mentality – “If I did that, then I can do this!”
  3. Diversity: This is such a big one! Diversity is essential to solving diverse problems, which gives engineers the opportunity to meet all different kinds of inspiring people to learn and grow from.

These are just a few of the reasons why we are working with the young minds of our future to shift the perspective on engineering. Engineering is fun, exciting, inspiring and full of unexpected twists and turns, how could you not love it!

Share the love on Valentine’s Day by liking our post… or better yet, let us know what you love about engineering in the comments.
