Governance

Engineers of Tomorrow operates with a strong governance structure to ensure transparency, accountability, and strategic oversight.

Our Board of Directors provides leadership and oversight in areas including:

Code of Ethics

All staff, volunteers, and partners are expected to uphold high standards of ethical conduct.

This includes:

  • Acting with integrity and professionalism

  • Creating respectful and inclusive environments

  • Representing engineering in a socially responsible way

  • Avoiding conflicts of interest

Safeguarding & Youth Protection

The safety of youth is at the core of everything we do.

We have implemented safeguarding measures to ensure all programs are delivered in a safe and supportive environment, including:

  • Clear codes of conduct for all participants

  • Defined boundaries for appropriate interactions

  • Procedures for identifying and reporting concerns

  • Ongoing training and guidance for volunteers

Volunteer Screening & Requirements

All individuals working directly with youth are required to meet our screening and compliance standards.

This includes:

  • A current Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) from their local police service (or approved third-party provider for virtual programming)

  • Annual acknowledgement confirming no changes to their PVSC status

  • Agreement to adhere to all EoT policies and codes of conduct

We are committed to maintaining a culture of transparency and accountability.
